Abstract: BVM Electronics Pvt. Ltd., an SME, is an Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) company located in India. This case narrates their ERP acquisition and implementation journey. It takes us through the travails faced by the company when they decide to implement an ERP system. Four years after implementing an ERP system, they realise that the ERP system does not meet their needs as desired, and they intend to replace it. Before doing so, they want to understand what they could have done to avoid having to replace their ERP system so soon.
